烏盧魯/艾爾斯岩 Uluru/Ayers Rock

從愛麗斯泉出發，花了6個小時才到達烏魯魯，一路上是沙漠場景，但是有不同的顏色。從很遠的距離，我們已經看到巨石的影子了。 From Alice Springs, it took 6 hours to reach Uluru. On the way is all desert scene with different colors. From a far away distance, we had already seen the image of the big rock.

Uluru and Kata Tjuta were formed about 350 million years ago. Uluru/Ayers Rock is recognised as "Australia's most natural icon" and has become a focal point for Australia and the world's acknowledgement of Australian indigenous culture. The sandstone monolith stands 348 m high with most of its bulk below the ground and is a sacred place to Anangu (local indigenous people).

The area around the formation is home to an abundance of springs, waterholes, rock caves and ancient aboriginal paintings, and is sacred to the Anangu, the Aboriginal people.
